Description: This free course will provide an overview on the different types of dementias, their presentations and some conditions which may mimic dementia especially in the older adult. Many professionals are not aware of the differences in dementia which then may influence care decisions for the patient. Interventions that may be helpful to professional and caregivers will be discussed.
